Abha is around 17–22°C in July when the rest of the Kingdom is at 45°C. Cable cars at Habala and Al Hada are family favourites; the Wednesday Folk Market in Abha is best in the early afternoon. Aseer's Souda mountains have multiple lookouts within a 40-minute drive of town — bring a light jacket for the evenings.
